Hey all, just flashed my bios 3029 wow, that was slick! Thanx for all your help.
Now I have decided to loas avalaunch.0.49.3 for my dash board cause buddy of mine bought a premod with it and i really like it.

Can you create a CD-RW with the dashboard and just load it that way? I know Ive read tutorials but they dont really get that specific, and all the examples are useing Evox

Could someone point me in the right direction.

The easiest way to get an alternative dashboard loaded is to network into your xbox and ftp it over. Use a network hub/switch and a program like flash fxp on your pc. Just transfer the dash onto your c: drive and then set the dashboard boot priority in the x3 config menu to boot whichever dash you want to use. Yoy don't have to rename any files such as xboxdash to msxboxdash like some of the older tutorials say. I would advise networking in and making a backup of your c: and e: drives before changing anything though!
good luck....

Korby Heinsen,

You don't have to install the Dashboard before upgrading to a new harddrive, all you need is a flashed chip. Make sure before upgrading that you backup your C and E drives to your computer.

About the CD-RW with dashboard board files it is possible but only if you already have a dashboard with a file manager installed (Avalaunch). It be easier to just FTP the files over.
