I am planning to get into doing my first RGH on a Corona v4 with the Cr4xl and a JRv2. Will I need the postfix adapter or anything else to get started? If so can someone line me out on the best bang for my buck. I have two slims with this board, one I will RGH for all the goodies that come with that and the other to obtain a drive key since it has that 1175FW. I'm real suprized there's not a work around for that. I'm excited for the new products and want to be shure I have everything I need. One more question to add. I'm assuming they are Corona V4 considering they were both 4gb out the box consoles and the manufacture dates read as 2013-03-12 "for my rgh console" and 2012-01-02 "key retrieval console". Am I on the right track with that or should I get a look under the heatsink before I order:confused:

you will need the 4gb sd adapter, and the post_fix, if it is a v4 board. You can still use the jrpV2 for the rater though. :)

I was just reading the J-runner user guide under Menu’s explained (updated for v3 build 1). Where it was showing the Corona 4gb NAND read write erase functions. Would this not eliminate the need for the 4gb SD adapter? I am new to this because of the fact that it seemed to change daily I waited to jump into it till now with the cr4 final solution "for most consoles" coming out. Now there is just so much outdated information out there it is pretty tedious to sort through. I've got some homework to do still but any good input is always helpfull. I wish I could get my hands on the userguide for the cr4xl now so I could incorporate that into my research ahead of time

Yes you still need the sdcard adapter, as this is the only way to read the nand on the corona v2/4/6. The wiring of the glitch hardware doesnt matter, and since there is no easy way to install dual nand in a 4gb Corona, the research is done.

things you need:
1. Postfix adapter
2. 4GB RW kit (SD adapter)
3. Glitch Chip(Coolrunner, slim proto, cr3-pro, cr4-xl, some other off brand, etc.)

So I don't even realy need a J-runner? just the card reader right? What do you think about the V4 qsb adapter for it? Seems those are a little harder to find "when trying to do all my shopping in one spot". Since this is my first time I should probably grab one of those too huh?

the 4gb rw qsb in case I was unclear
It comes with it when you buy one. FYI jrunner is a software program and it's free to download

From what I've been looking at the qsb with the 4gb rw kit is fit for the corona v2 motherboard slightly different from the corona v4 mother board that i'm wanting to do my first glitch on. From what I've read in the descriptions this qsb can be used but doesn't sit quite the same on the install. There is a v4 qsb sold seperately. I guess what I'm getting at is this something a first timer should invest in? The fairly limited availability I'm finding online ATM has my wondering if its a an unessesary expense?
