1.0 Xbox - Spiderchip 1.1 - Flashed the chip with X2_4983 as others had said they were able to successfully use this bios on spider. Flash seemed to go smoothly, however when I boot up the Xbox with the chip enabled - the regular Xbox animation runs and it says "Xecuter2" where it normally says "Microsoft". Then it goes to the normal Xbox bios. The only thing that is different is the "Xecuter" tather than "Microsoft" font during startup. The menu is still the same (Disk space, music, settings, etc). What exactly does the x_4983 bios look like? Any ideas/suggestions of what is going on? Any help much appreciated.

you flashed the bios perfectly ... everything is fine, what u see is normall... u gotta load up your avalaunch or evox dashboard on it... i recommend you use avalaunch.
just copy the avalaunch files into the C partition on the xbox then reboot the X2.4983 bios checks for "avalaunch.xbe" first (well not counting the default.xbe on the dvd-rom drive)

Perfect - Will hook the PC up to the Xbox and give it a go. Was not aware you had to transfer via FTP. Thanks for the heads up.
