power adaptor doesnt work

when powered up with out the reset switch hooked up it flashed then went to flashing green and red

ok i put in an x3 in my xbox the only way it would come on is to leave the eject reset switch out so i did then it booted up to the flash screen and i flashed the chip it ran threw the flash and cut off then when i turned it back on a black screen and the red and green flashing on power light

sounds like you may have flashed with the wrong version for your mother board.1959 for 1.0 to 1.5 1959_v16plus for 1.6 and 1.6b.

Ripping using wxripper

I'm wondering if ripping should work over USB? My dvd drive is connected to my laptop using sata to usb but I keep getting cyclic redundancy checks.

thanks! I didnt know anything about changing the layout file. I started of using this tut which didnt mention it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxLEy3oL6ag&feature=related

and after seeing your post i found another one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mfk5WTJj3ZQ which shows you how to modify the layout file and I didnt get any cyclic redundancy checks!!
