you got to be joking you're not using google to find some of your problem or follow direction right. you been offer for help in your country. what you want us to do. right now early in the game (hope it's not to late) I would take it to them guys that offer you service to look at it because you should not be never attempting to open an xbox ever again. use this site to get your stuff repair. repair work is not for everyone. sorry

no i've watched a jtag video and he done the diode just like i done in the motherboard there is one part missing from my motherboard see pic

I don't know why everyone is focusing on the diodes. Even if he had his diodes backwards, it would only cause E79 in a working console.

The missing MOSFET is the issue here. Just like you say.

I can pull the mosfet from one of my dead motherboards if you think you have the skill to solder it on. The part would be free but you would have to pay the shipping..


I have the part already removed in my parts bin if you need it. I'm in the states though, so you might want to try to find the part in your country to save money..

I also have a couple questions for you.

1. Do you know what dashboard was on the console?

2. If you don't know the dash version when was the last time you played the console on xbox live?

Since the guy didn't know how to properly install the dioeds, it has me curious if he even used the correct method of jtagging it.

I recently mailed a free part to another member here and he hasn't received it yet but i paid for shipping on his since he lived close by here in the states, so I won't mail anything else without a tracking#. It was only a hdd door for a slim so I'm not worried about it. I knew better but wanted to save $$

I hate when people take advantage of people ( like women also could be your grandmother) that don't have a ideal of what's going on. rather than helping them. when you get the part maybe the guys that offer the service by your home town will put it on for you. maybe he will put it on for free if you tell him your money problem or a lower cost than charged , if your were in the states I would do it for free for you.
