Power button doesn't work anymore

Hi all, I have a 1.6 xbox with X3 installed ... It's been working very well for 2 weeks. But now , i can't turn on/off the console with the power button (i can turn it on with the eject button and turn it off from a dash or unplug the power cable .. gulp..) .. what's weird is that when i push on both buttons to start from the X3 biosInstall the Led is purple and everything goes well...

.. Does it sound like a wire soldering issue ??... Could you guess which connection is damaged ?

I would use a multimeter and check your wires to make sure you didn't short any of the wires, break any connections

is your xboxon the floor? on a carpet? you could of youched your box whilst charged with static electricity and wrecked all the components? it couls be that but as your xbox is in a plastic casing you would have to stick your finger inside or something. but maybe when you were modding or dismantling it that happened?

well this happened to me before, but what had happened to me, was a piece of a chip or some piece of sh*t got stuck behind it and wouldn't let me turn it on, pissed me off, about punched a hole and took a sledge hammer to my box
