power cable

am just going throught textbooks tutorial , and was wondering do you have to have the 360 powered through it's own supply or does it take power from the pc, i realise the video cables have to be plugged into the 360 and was wondering about the power lead.

Odd question... but yes you have to power the 360 with its own power cable.
I suggest you read tutorials and watch videos again
