Hi all. I'm hoping somebody could give me some advice with a problem im having with a falcon. About a week ago I installed a coolrunner using wires as my qsb had not arrived. It has been running perfectly, booting first time on every attempt.

Today I received my QSB's so I thought id install it but now the xbox only powers up when it feels like it. Sometimes pressing the power button will turn it on (and glitches fine) but if I turn it off and turn it back on straight away it's a 50/50 chance it'll power up.

Im guessing I've got a bad solder somewhere but the only ones I have changed are the two on the new qsb (3v power and the one that goes to the hana chip)

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance!

Since the problem definitely in the solder job the only help we could be is if you post pictures.

This is one of those if it aint broke dont fix it examples. I hope you can find the problem and getting it working good again =)

I'll try photos later, but I don't own a particularly good camera for close ups. Looks like I'm going to have to redo the qsb from scratch to be sure though I guess.

Does anybody know if a short on any of those qsb points would stop the console from turning on though?
