as everyone who has ripped open their xbox knows, the power connections for motherboard / hdd are standard pc power connections and molex respectively, but my question is regaurding the power unit, does anyone know, or are willing to try, and see if it's possible to power an xbox with a 350/400watt PC PSU.

I ask because i'm contemplating rebuilding an xbox from ground up, and installing it in a SFF case unit.

If its possible has anyone tried?
if it isnt possible, is there a way to mod a pc PSU to be able to do it?

it's possible, i actually had a pc PSU running my xbox for a bit, lots of research was done over at xbox-scene, they figured out some converting was needed, you can buy a simple adapter from a company called tribemods that will do everything you need :)... oh and just so you know, 1.0-1.1 xbox's have a diff connector than the rest which are standard molex...

once i get a reply back from them, ill start work on X-Shuttle ;)

Removing firmware

I want to sell my Xbox 360 and I had it hacked to allow me to play copied games, can anyone tell me how to remove it?

Re: Removing firmware

have someone flash the original dump back to the drive.
or get a stock bin and transfer your dvdkey to the stock bin
and flash it.
