R-JTAG Power Switch doesnt work after RJTAG Installation

Hello I have sucessufully installed now some RJTAG chips.
I have a problem with 2 Jaspers 16 MB Mainboards.

The Rjtag etc works. They do glitch.
But on the first one the RF MODUL didnt work.
After I pluged in the Power supply I presed the Power Button and nothing happens.
When I unplug out the RF Modul from the Mainboard the XBOX starts.
The original RF modul didn work anymore.
I testet 6 different other ones and only one of it worked propper.
2 of them worked but the LED didnt show anything.
And the wireless xbox controller is not able to find the xbox.

i thought this hapens only with one xbox.
But now I have the second xbox where exactly the same story did start.

Does anyone have the same problems ?

You damaged R2P12

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

what is R2P12 can you show me a pic ? and is this repairable ?
and why are some RF Modules working and some not when its damaged ?
I have installed already many Glitch chips. and the RJTAG didnt look much heavier.. So I dont thing I damaged anything..

Its a resistor that you solder the qsb to. Its not needed for the aud_clamp method which is the recommended install method.

When I use the the aud_clamp Method. the problem exists.
When I use the NO the aud_clamp the problem does not exists.
I dont believe that I had a installation error. And I belive its something wrong with the chips.
The consoles work 1a without any chip when I deinstall it.
Also all RF Modules I testet work on all other Consoles. There is no error in the RF MODULES or in the Mainboards.
because they do work without the chip.
When the chip is installed with that the aud_clamp Method the problem is starting.
So what is the closest solution ? The chips are faulti I think.

Just take the advice and replace R2P12 and use Aud_clamp

There is nothing wrong with the chip. There is nothing on the chip that could cause this problem. The fact you think there could be makes me think you should not be doing this type of install.

You have damaged the resistor. You have confirmed that by saying that the RF board works in other consoles. Replace the resistor and the fault will be resolved. It only takes a minute to replace.

believe it or not, it is the R2P12 resistor .. it may not look damaged but it is.. all it takes is a bit of excess heat and its dead.. I had the same issue and the picture above is from my support thread.. the resistor looked good but was completely dead.. replaced the resistor and it was all good.. just replace it and next time don't use that point..

All of this is AFTER you damaged R2P12.

So completely moot. Once you get R2P12 fixed it'll be fine. I wrote that sticky so noobs would have less chance of damaging their console.

I removed the non working chip.I installed a Coolrunner 3 lite ( much cheaper, glitch times also ok ) and everything is fine.I installed the same chip into a other console ! which was never touched.this is now my 8th R JTAG and maybe my 800 Glitch install. So no mistake can be maken by my installation.And what a miracle !! god made a big miracle.. the same error again..I know, I am noob and I cant install and the chip is ok..Thanx for your help.</p>

If the CR3 Lite is working, you most definitely need to complete this:

You say you removed the "non working chip" and go on to say that you put it in another console and the same error. I would bet money you still didnt pay attention to martins guide and you still soldered to the resistor on the other console.

isn't it strange that you claim to have done 800+ glitch installs yet you're only on your 8th R-Jtag.. :eek2:
