Power to wires (leds and such)

I was wondering how to wire up LEDs, im looking at pics and it seems from that power thing for the hd?, and how much voltage it gives out.

the tut i used was this www.xbox-scene.com/articles/jewel-leds.php thats an awesome tut. the wires are as follows< red=5volt the 2 blacks are each ground yellow/orange=12volt. if u have any more ?'s feel free to AIM me at wooster241
