practicing before a RGH

Ive got myself a broken jasper board which im going to practice on before my main console. Question is with the QSBs can they be ok to take off and reuse them or am i best to start with a fresh set.

Ive done plenty of X2's and X3's and region mods on various machines i have but wanted to do a test run.

Before you go with the suggestions to get a pro to do it, i've already got everything apart from the CR itself and the reason i have a spare board is because a pro did it before (hence the broken jasper, he sorted me out though and his service was excellent overall).

You can reuse the qsb as long as they don't get damaged. Only a couple bucks to get qsb's so might be a good idea to practice with a couple.

Just remember that flux is your friend when soldering.

Any thin, multicore solder will do fine.

maplins solder isn't very good had a look the other day and its all lead free and too thick . look on fleabay . I can't advertise for someone else but i got 3mtrs lead solder for 99p use that and its all good

it came in the post after two days .
