yes m8 same lock routines and so on yes it will i ahve mcix and winbonds mixed and replaced in other systems and the are fine
I'm a little unclear which Drive version you had originally in the console 
If it was a 9504/0272 then you need to flash the PCB with the corresponding CFW
If it was a 0225 then you need to flash the PCB with the corresponding CFW

I originally had a 0225 winbond in the console buddy, bought a 9405 without knowing and then was told I did the wrong thing haha.I'm a little unclear which Drive version you had originally in the console

NVM you will be fine with a MXIC c/w Sputnik switch from either of the sources I posted earlier
Just use the 0225 CFW and you'll be fine buddy :biggrin:
