hi guys, please excuse the noobness in me, but I got a little confused going through the tutorial for the X3 installation. I just purchased a 1.6 motherboard with the LPC already rebuilt, as well as the D0 and pinheader installed. Follow this link for pics:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8164295508&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

my question is: do I need to do any additional soldering to this board? it looks like all the major soldering has been done on the board already. Do I still have to install the D0/LAN/HDD cable that came with the x3? or can I simply install the x3 board on top of the pinheader and solder the 5v? I'm curious because the D0 is already installed on the board, so there wouldn't be room to install the d0/lan/hdd cable.

so basically, what else do I need to do to this board to get an x3 running on it?

thanks for the help!
(oh and I had to buy the board pre-installed because I have very bad vision, and my hands shake like crazy)

from what I can see from the pic this is what you are going to have to do. You can choose to or not to install the HDD and LAN wires. That choice is up to you. But you HAVE to install the d0 wire somehow. Since the D0 is already wired your best bet would be to just solder the d0 wire on the wireharness of the x3 to the presoldered wire (hope that makes sense) You are also going to have to solder the alt 5v wire (which is super easy)

Any questions let me know
