start with rjtag always on phats. rgh2 is a fallback.i have found that rjtag on cr4 just dont work well in alot of the jaspers i have done.depends on the console i guess.this is where having a versatile chip comes in handy.

No they don't really. They don't improve performance in a significant way. The JTAG QSB will save you from buying the diodes or other components separately. I say this as a personal preference and I have loads of various components that I pull from. The NAND -X QSB (which you don't need with a Demon) is just a waist of money in my opinion.

Edit: Don't take this as me telling you not to buy them. I'm just saying that they are not required.

im using a jasper the original post says zephyer but due to the apparent large failur rate with them i switched my focus.
i was wondering why the hell i mentioned a jasper in my previous post here, lol was sittin here more confused than a fat woman at a weight watchers convention,or better yet why they gave ole buttchin the role of batman after he f**ked daredevil up so bad. (affleck if your reading this, stick to kevin smith films ffs)

The QSB's do make a nice clean install for sure so if you got the money to get them then its a no-brainer. I have seen many first timers try to install a QSB and screw it up pretty bad though, so if you don't have a bunch of soldering experience I recommend practice first before attempting the install, but also watch this video by XJonnyGunsX... It is very informative, detailed and he has a really good camera so you can see up close to the board and try to learn some good techniques on soldering. He does good work and he is careful so watch closely. I realize this is not the same console as you will be using but it will give you a good idea about using QSB's which is good especially since the demon is basically just a big QSB. I'm sure there are other videos out there that can help with your particular motherboard but this is just to show you the basics. And remember to read the card that comes with the demon and follow what it says, and be careful installing it because it is not a noob-friendly installation. Good Luck...
