okay a few questions to pick your brains?

i have an xecuter 2.6 CE installed in my box is their any way without using xboxhdm to prep a new har ddrive back to normal state with just msdash settings?

is it possible for me to put a pre-used modded hard drive in my boz i bought on ebay and then boot AID as normal and prep a hard drive that way?
