looks im gonna be adding to the barrage of questions... but i guess thats what the forums are 4 ;)

the CP makes sense, lookso cool ect ( tho if u ask me the logo bit on the stock panel looks waaaay cooler ;) but the LCD panel... what does it actually do?

Can it display stuff like what track is playing? and what game ect ect?

or just bios versions and the likes?

and lastly, is it backlit?

It depends on what dash/apps you run, for example xbmc will display menus, ID3 tags, etc so you can pretty much run it without a tv (as far as I've seen/heard so far)

Without a TV SWEEET, now I won't have to lug the tv up stairs just to DL from xbins :D :D

er, don't quote me on that just yet, I 'think' u can run xbmc by just using the LCD, but until I get mine I won't know for sure :? :p

That picture right there is the CP - control panel (the CP has the USB ports).

The LCD itself - you can find it on the main page - is just a seperate LCD. You can run it without the pro switch correct, just connect it to the X3.

So then that was the picture of the acutally XLCD that is being sold next week? Because i was really hoping that the background was blue like it is in that picture. And seeing how i cannot wait to get the XLCD, will Team Xecuter be selling a CP that doesnt come with the XLCD? Because i'm going to order a XLCD next week, and then when the CP comes out, i dont want to end up with two lcd screen and only one X3. Also, if TeamX does sell the CP without the XLCD will it be alot cheaper? I hope so.

To put it simply the control pannel has everything, including usb ports. But the wonderful xecuter have made it so u can buy the xlcd on its own if u only want that or the switch on its own if u only want that. :D

Do we have three things confused here?

There is a XLCD. It's the standalone LCD that mounts on your existing case.

There's a Pro Switch. It's a standalone. It replaces the switch that comes with the chip that you mount on the left side of the existing case.

There's the X3 Control Panel. This integrates the XLCD, the switches, the led logo, the IR area (don't think first batch will come with IR enabled), the extra two USB ports, and replaces your console's existing control panel.

Clearer? I hope so.

Yeah that sounds about right bro. But i was wondering if they are going to be selling the CP with the option of including the XLCD or excluding it. Because i'm going to buy a XLCD right now, then i'm going to buy the crystal CP when it comes out after christmas, and i dont want to end up paying 60 bucks for a CP that has a LCD that i already have. I think it would be a good idea to have the option to include the XLCD or exclude it.

Samsung to Benq Lt Spoof

i have a broken samsung drive but i was able to get the ofw to spoof it to a benq drive. i then spoof the samsung ofw to benq LT. it worked but it there something i need to know that it is not right because i don't want to go online and get banned in like a week

Just a FYI, you no longer need to spoof. The latest dashboard update removed the drive make/model check. It's probably safer not spoofing =)
