Hi everybody :)
I purchased a new tx pcb board from someone, they say it was never used. Flashed it with the fw, and wouldnt read any discs. So i put back the stock pcb and read the original games perfectly and copied it to the hard drive without any errors. So I swap dvd drives and put the pcb in another drive and still same thing. Is it possible that these pcbs can be fried or something?

Here is the jf log

Sending Device ID request to port 0x0000
Spi Status: 0x8C
Manufacturer ID: 0xEF
Device ID: 0x11
Flash Name: Winbond/NEX(W25P20/NX25P20)
Flash Size: 262144 bytes

Sending Spi UnLock request to Port 0x0000
.
Spi Status: 0x00

thats no tx pcb:rolleyes2:

The seller on ebay is now saying I am trying to rip him off, and that he sent me the one on the top. Can any of you guys with a real pcb send me pics of you pcb so I can show ebay.

Thanks :)

those boards are genuine. they have already been advertised here as being genuine.

if you think they are faulty send them back - but i can tell you with those hologram stickers they have been tested working at the factory.

Both stickers are correct. The X3 one is from the old X3 days and were put there while waiting for the new TX stickers

All you had to do was search on here and youd have seen Digital Merchants ads and they were endorsed as having genuine stock.

or you can stop being an a**h**e and just send it back to see if its faulty or not - they have a warranty !

if its faulty it will get swapped. if its not then you can be slapped around for not following the instructions on how to do these boards correctly and pay some extra postage costs :p

either way you are covered
