Got my X3 all installed and working perfectly. Amazing considering I've never done it before nor have I ever soldered before, yet it came out perfect the first time.

When I used to power up the Xbox without a disc in it, it would go to the X3 screen (with the config live, and other options).

Anyway, so then I would have to hit reboot to dash and it would load up evox. This was fine, I kinda liked being able to get to both easy. However, for some reason I haven't figured out yet, when I boot the Xbox with no disc, it goes straight to the Evox dashboard, and not to the X3 settings thing anymore. I have no idea how to get to it either.

Does it matter? If it does, how do I fix it, or access the X3 options?

Far from here!
Look around the boards next time. Hold down the white button during boot and it will take you to X3.

That explains how to get into the options...but doesn't help much with why it just randomly quit going to the options in the first place.

Hey your not the only one.

I have a question same as you i have also installed the xecuter three for the first time successfully. when i hit the power button with the 4 banks on i come upon a screen with evo x written uptop. and it just loaded to a regualr xbox menu. Does the Xecuter 3 chip come with the evox dashboard loaded or do i have to ftp it on to the xbox. I dont know whats going on. my original goal was to install a modchip and upgrade a hard drive so i can copy and play games onto and off of my xbox. If you could tell me the correct procedures following right after installing the chip into my BOX i would really appreciate it thanx.
