CK3 PROBE Probe 3 green light problems

ive searched and searched all over, looked on every page on google and cant find anything! my ck3 works fine, but when i connect my drive to the via card and ck3, JF detects it but the probe 3 wont respond at all.

although if i suicidally put the power cable into the ck3 the wrong way, the probe will work but the ck3will turn off.

any ideas?

Your first mistake was plugging the cable in the wrong way around.

Are you saying the Probe 3 LED doesn't come on at all?

yes i know, im not the first and wont be the last when the cables are correctly placed, the probe 3 LED is NOT on

I assume you connected the Probe 3 cable to your CK3 and your drive?

You did power the CK3 on didn't you?

yes, i connected everything how i always connect it, it worked fine last week

Have you actually tested the Probe with PhatKey?

yeah, that was my first idea but nothing happened, just phatkey failed

a few years ago i had a similar problem but with a maximus probe and their ck, after spending over 5 hours toying around and looking online i found the tiniest little message on one of their web pages saying there is a firmware update. after updating it worked but there was no clear online solution helping me.
idk if TX has firmware updates for their ck3 but thats just my story
