[probe v3][DG-16D4S] can't get the spu unlocked[0225]

hey there, i got my dummy.bin and everything but im stuck at spi unlocking i go into vendor mode and then i press the 0x8c or whatever and click yes, then i put the probe v3 on the trace and i have also tried putting it in the hole etc but nothing is happening i just get ALOT of "..." please help me :/

You need sputnik probe to unlock spi not the probe3

i use the sputnik probe look at the pic, and i have done everything as in the tut, just that im not using a PCB

Also you need the correct chipset winbond / mxic.. 03 is the magic number. Otherwise a replacement PCB is required.

Just thought is your Sputnik set to 10?

no its not set to 10 ? im not using a switch and the jftut pdf did not say anything about that :/ yea ofc i got MXIC chipset

try 10ohms switch setting on first. That usually does the trick.
And installing a switch is just the same process as what your doing, however you will solder the cut after you Finnish. It's the same process and tutorial for flashing

okay how about my trace cut and everything how does that look ?

I haven't looked. The easiest way is to check with a multimeter for continuity.
