ANSWERED Problem about Hard drive!

OK, so I am new to this jtag and xbox. I got an xbox without any memory or hard drive. I heard that with jtag you can somehow make usb flash or computer hard drive be xbox memory.

I am wondering is that true and if here already was that question to give me the link to it. If not, can someone explain it to me?

Hi.

You don't need anything special to allow your console to use a USB stick as an Xbox Memory Unit. All dashboards over 9199 support this.

The JTAG question is another matter. What version dashboard do you currently have ?

Any Laptop sata hdd will do your Jtag if you have one about your can put it in a hdd shell and format it with you Jtag or use a USB hdd better for you if you put it in a xbox hdd shell easier to install stuff...

I dont have any xbox HDD. I havent updated my dashboard. Do i need HDD or memory to do it. If not, how?

Ok, it's possible your console is exploitable. Just don't accept any updates !!!

1. Has the console ever been refurbished by Microsoft?
2. What's the manufacturer date on the back ?

2.Not sure where it is written. On my cd it is written August 2005.

In which case, it's definitely able to be jtag'd. Either check through the guides on how to do it, or get it done. There's so much more you can do with it once it's done you just have to remember not to update it!

You can but I wouldn't advise it.

You've got an opportunity to open the console up to some excellent opportunities. By updating you will remove that opportunity permanently.

Well I wanted to ask a guy whos sun is in Germany and he plays xbox too. So if I dont make this work. I shall ask him to get it for me.
