Hello,

I had got a working Falcon with the Rgh everythimg worked fine ... till yesterday. My Xbox showed up the dashboard but with colors which are suddenly all messed up.

So that was the time I noticed there must be a problem with the gpu.

I disassembled the xbox and reflowed the gpu...

After the reflow I tried to start the console .... but the green light of the coolrunner wont flush anymore .

Also measured the CR lines with a multimeter .. it beeps ... so there is contact on all lines .

Pictures off soldering:

maybe a defective CR ?? can someone tell me the OHM of this resistor ? Cause this one is 0 and the other one (C4) is 500 OHM

That's a CAP, not a resistor.

You have way too much exposed wire on your soldered points. Check my 'pics' sticky for how they should look. CPU_PLL_BYPASS is the normal culprit.

only stby is a different one but quite the same length

hmm you said CPU_PLL_BYPASS is the normal culprit.

Tried the alternative point of CPU_PLL_BYPASS but wont boot either :S

How high is the possibility that I have a broken Cr ?

Look at the length of EXPOSED wire at CPU_PLL_BYPASS. Now look at my soldering pics.

Notice how little I have exposed at the solder point? You've more than likely damaged something....

hmm If I truly messed up the CPU PLL BYPASS on this track possible to use the alternative point ?? near the cpu chip ?

You're missing the point, unfortunately.

When you last switched it on like that, you more than likely damaged the CPU_PLL_BYPASS itself. Check R7R17 and make sure it's 10k - you might be lucky and it's only this which has blown.

And I thing there is no possibility to fix this issue right :/ ?? because I tried all alternative points and doesn t work ... ahh das quite bad ... to blow up a console with such an issue

okay I measured now on 3 different consoles one is 10k other ones are 4.85 and 5.85 ... (the 5.85 does not work sorry!)

4.85 is my one ( Black Probe is on Av Top) like you said, red one on CPU_PLL_BYPASS.
