When I try to flash my chip, it tells me unknown flash and then thats it. I put in a brand new 2.6 chip and it can flash just fine all day long but my old chip wont flash. Ideas?
Here is the take on it. At one time the old 2.6 chip worked fine and one day I flashed it, I think not with FlashBios on the banks but some xecuter xxxx version. From there on out, it would reboot 3 times then nothing.
So what I tried was booting with a known good chip that has flashbios 3.0.3 on all banks then turn off the bios switch and perform a hot swap...
turn the chip back on with the old mod chip in place and go to flash via network. I browse to the ip and select the bios.bin that was created with all 4 banks with flashbios 3.0.3 then hit the flash button..
This is where I get the unknown flash message.
Is there anything that can be done to salvage my old chip? Do you all replace them? Im clueless as to what to do next.
Thanks
