Ok, here is the backstory... I've got a ton of Slim units that were disassembled. I've been putting coolrunners in them to pull dvd keys and run them as RGH consoles, and had been flashing some complete phat drives I had, then modifying the case to fit. Well I picked up a sputnik360 unlock switch for the MXIC board slim drive I've got. I got it all installed and followed the instructions here:

I selected the source firmware as slim 0225, and loaded 3.0 onto the target and manually typed in the key I got from Xell. However, I am getting the authorisation failed and write verify failed at the end of trying to write the firmware. I thought maybe it was because of the firmware I picked, so I tried 9504 and 0272, but got the same errors. Help?
