Problem flashing MS28

I attempted to flash my toshiba-samsung MS28 with the Xtreme hacked firmware 5.2, i used Xtreme Boot Maker V0.5.3 RC1 to create the basic disk i applyed bokes patch and used custom controller, then i turned the pc off and connected the xbox 360 drive to my pcs onboard sata my motherboard is the DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR, i then turned on the pc and booted from the usb drive then i turn on the xbox 360 and type in xread it lists the sata port so i type in 3 and turn off the 360 wait ten seconds and turn it back on and nothing happens in dos it doesnt try updating or anything it just seems to hang, Can anyone tell me what the problem is please?

MS28 drives only work with "Via VT6421A PCI Sata type Cards" or other variations of it for that matter

I just bought a 6421A SATA card for cheap. A or L will work fine -save yourself the hassle and get either or these two cards.
I just did a flash tonight "bad flash" style without any problems.

I want to get the VIA VT 6421L PCI SATA Card because its alot easier to flash with it but i cant seem to find one anywhere to buy even on ebay.

I can get the VIA VT 6421A PCI SATA Card easily in the uk but how do i bad flash the drive exactly?

Read the tutorial. It was exactly as you described in your original post with the 10 second method. That is the bad flash method.

This card is similar to the 6421L. The only difference is MTKFlash also needs the port I/O’s hexedited as well.

Im slighty confused on what you mean abouit hexediting the port I/O's how do i do this because i cant seem to find any tutorial stating this =/

The XBM software will allow you to do this. I was initially overwhelmed with all this "I/O" and "Hexedit" business too. It's all an automated process. Once you see the XBM software running you'll understand.
Edit: I just noticed that you have used the software already. Hexedit option is right there dude.
