Problem here with an Arcade

Installed them and tried to let it run.

Still the white xbox screen with no action. No button works. The eject button brings me not back to the dash. I have to shut down the box completly.

Could you test if it works properly on your box?

--------------------

If I use the IHC Tool. where should I put the extracted SMC file to let it be injected in the image?

How do you want me to test them? I mean, they work. That's all.

Are you sure you placed the files at the right place?

Made partition2 with the partitionmaker tool (don'T know the name atm) on the new 500gig hdd.

I also tried my original 120gb hdd from the non modded xbox on which the xbox1 games work. The jtagged one crashes at the white xbox screen. the non jtagged works.

I can't really understand whats the problem. You have the correct files, present at the correct place, and it still isn't working.........

I will try the ihc builder.

Can I change the smc afterwards in the patched .bin file?
No. Don't try that. If you use a freeboot image whose SMC has been changed after it has been compiled, your Xbox360 won't boot to NXE. It will just stay stuck at a blank screen after you turn on the Xbox360.

So I have to compile the SMC in a copy of my original nand and create the freeboot then, I hope.

Well IHC seems not to have the XBOX1 option in it. Just the mem editing option is in it.

I ask myself how did you guys get it to work with the compiler.

^I am pretty sure jtag tool has it.
Seems like you didn't read the whole thread. He already tried Jtag Tool, and it isn't working for him.

Well when I try to extract the SMC data from and reinsert it I get an error with tms data something. Its too fast to see.

Well I flashed it with freeboot and the xbox compatibility and it works. optical Output seems not to stutter ATM and the Emulation of XBOX1 titles work, too.

So I don't know if the error was before that or not.

Is this something serious?

So this error is not the serious?
Since your Xbox360 is working fine, I'd say that you have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you make a Backup of your NAND in its current working condition using Flash360.

One of my two runs now finr and thats the one with the 512mb NAND (for which I can slap me in my face).

The 16mb Version is running everything fine, too except the XBOX1 emulation.

As far as I read now.

It's not possible to patch the SMC with the Originalnand it has to be a XBR with the injected KV files.

When I patched this and try to compile freeboot I get the next error. Could not find file "sysupdate.xexp1". Unhandled Exception.

You mean to say that you extracted the SMC file out of the original NAND and tried to patch it ?

Yepp, I tried to edit the SMC out of the Original NAND.
You won't be able to do that since the original SMC does not contain the configuration needed to use the JTAG points. Therefore, it will give you an error when you either try to edit it or use it to make a freeboot image.

Thats why I injected the KVs in a XBR Image. After that the freeboot compile gives me the error from above now.

This is all so strange.
Can you please give a quick overview of what you are trying to do and what's the problem you're facing? I mean, I feel lost regarding your current matter.
