problem...hoping someone is awake

well i just finished soldering everything in...the only problem that i have is that one of the pins sticks up further than the other.....i have tried to remove all the solder but i think there is still a very little bit on there which is not allowing me to push the pin further in....any sugestions?

If you are sure the pin is making contact (check continuity front and back) then you COULD snip off a bit and make it level with the others with a wire cutter. It would be better to desolder a bit and try pushing it down, but if you spend too much time on one point you always risk messing up the contact points on the board and/or the traces. Again, if you are sure that you have a good connection on that point, then use some wire cutters and make it even with the other points and you should be fine.

If you don't have have a multimeter, just use a flashlight bulb, a battery, and some wires.

Suspended from xbox live

on the 3rd of march I was suspended from xbox live for having the robot with 2 middle finger sticking up saying F*** YOU F*** YOU F*** YOU.

So after that suspension signed into my profile again and my motto bio location etc etc said code of conduct so i deleted that and re did my bio which was totally clean no swear words or nothing.

Then today i get an email from xbox live saying you have been suspended from live until the 13 march for having the words F*** YOU in your bio but from the initial ban and my privilidges reinstated i deleted that out so really i should not be getting banned again, ok i could understand if i still had it in there, buut i dont and it has just baffled my head.

so i try to create another gamertag to get the free 1 month trial but it always says xbox live sign up is currently unavailable please try later.


anyone know if M$ will lift the ban as this is unfair and i learnt from the first time.

honestly you can complain to mS but they wont do s**t to help you. Just wait out the suspension and dont change your motto. IS a motto even nessecary. I know I dont look at any of my 97 friends mottos ever.

ye mate i know it all happened coz this lad said his bio was brill i said look at mine and he got all his m8s to file a complaint f***** w******

anyway i figured out why xbox was saying currently unavailable it was becase i was trying to register a googlemail email when it needs 2 windows live email,

ive got 1 month free now this was the email i received off m$:-
