Alright so here's the deal. I just bought a VIA Sata Card with 6241L chipset. So I install it : I shut down my comp, turn power off, put the card in the slot and fix it on the chassis. Then I put my power back on and turn my computer on. Once its on, everything runs fine until Windows XP load (before the Log in screen). My computer just automatically reboot and I can't get past this step. Once it rebooted once, I get this choice between starting my comp in normal mode, safe mode, debug mode, etc. If I try any option, the same problem happen. Then I removed the card to atleast use my computer, and yet even after removing the card, I still get the same error with the modes choice. I had to chose last safe mode and then it worked past the XP loading, but all my icons were screwed, my second monitor was not working.

So I was wondering whats the problem with my computer? What do I have to do to fix this problem? Thanks for help !

I dont really understand how this is an issue with your sata card. I take sata cards in and out of XP (and other OS's) computers without any issues. Remove the sata and try to recover your windows XP. Then start over.

Well, I was able to use it today, without the card installed, but now, since I rebooted my computer, I cant get past the loading. I tryed every choice of mode and none work. Its kinda frustrating since it all started with the card, and now even if its no more installed, I still get the problem.
I had already tryed to reinstall it and try again, but I still came up with the same problem. Now im really stuck and cant do anything...
Any command I should run in BIOS or something, or should I boot from my Windows CD and repair? Thanks for the help
