LITEON DG-16D2S problem liteion closes and opens all time

my friend has a litieon 7840c then i used me xecuter usb pro, and press dvd2key to extract key without extractor, then after does bay closes and opens constantly.

do i have to put in vendor mode?

is problem of the motherboard or the power cable to dvd.

to press dvd2key i follow instructions and put bay at half open.

please help i am nerves is my friend videoconsole

i didn´t flashed it , it has a lt 2.0 does i have to put it to stock firmware to flash with lt 3.0 thanks

if your meaning the drive keeps ejecting when you try close it then solder a piece of wire to the 2 points in this pic

Why are you using DVDKey32?

It is old, out-dated and won't retrieve the drive key from an LT+ 2.0 flashed drive.

If you already have dummy.bin, use that as the source firmware, revert the drive to stock firmware (PRE folder), update the console's dashboard and then flash LT+ 3.0.

i mean, when i turn off the xbox, it closes and then xbox turns on automatic, and tray is open.

so is always open, and i can not close

I had this problem with a drive once. Turned out to be a bad flash. This was way back when I was still using the xbox to power the drives and my onboard Sata to flash. My solution was to get the proper tools for the job (CK3 and USB Pro).

i forget to mention that i have ck3 probe v3 and xecuter usb pro, and also i have intermitent green led always doing the same, i read that the solution is to put in vendor mode. i didnt flashed i only pressed dvdkey32 and had this problem, thanks for all replys.

if you know the solution please tell me, tomorrow i will trie ck3 probe to give power to liteon dvd

DVDKey32 won't work for you - it is for STOCK 74850 drives only!

Do you have dummy.bin or the drive key?

If I recall correctly, either R707 or R708 controls the drive's eject function - are either of these points bridged by any chance?

Do you have another drive to try in the Xbox this would then rule out the drive of its still ejecting
