Hello i just install the X3CE on my v1.6 box i used the pin header install and my box just frags it goes on off on off on then gives a blank screen now my xbox original bios wont load i get the 3frags then the status light flashes green and red. It wont work with or without the chip in and on the control panel it shows the chip is disabled and wont turn on. All my solders are good i've checked many times. So if someone can help i really would appreciate it

maybe if you two guys actually did a little reading and use the search button you wouldnt have to make posts like this.
you say your soldering is good but it doesnt work without the chip
you know how dumb that sounds ?
if the xbox doesnt work without the chip how do you think its gonna work with the chip ???
you fcuked up your xbox - do some sarching for the word REPAIR

quick words from the man himself had me worried, but after some crying, i found a DISGUSTINGLY minute connection between a point on the pcb and a teeny transistor or whatever.
removed it, got the modchip lit up like a christmas tree and finally my MS dash returns, with added progress!! i now have a blue x when all external switches are to the left, but the power button flashes on and of green for a few seconds then stays on, and no video. i can also use the power/eject press and get a red/blue X, but again no video.
finally, i can bypass the modchip without a hitch, and a red X is shown on the switch when this happens.
direct solution from anyone?...while i go use that fancy "search tool"!
