JTAG problem reading NAND

hi,
i have jasper 16mb cb 6750
2 years ago i connected a lpt cable that i build my self to read the nand and had no problem
today i have a new computer with both win 7 64 and xp 32 OS

my problem is that i cant read the nand anymore (under xp 32 os)
and it writes "could not detect a flash controller"
i desolder all the points and resolder it very precisely and clean (the wires go all the way through)and still no go
after reading tons of guides and problem pp had i found this:
* nandpro only works with certain USB adapters, and real LPT ports, not pci to lpt cards.

i have pci to lpt card!
how do i fix it?
do i have to change the computer?

today all the new computers have pci to lpt cards - they dont make it with lpt port onboard
there must be a solution
please help, i want to get it ready when my coolrunner arrive

Get a a NAND-X and save yourself the headache, it takes forever to dump a NAND via LPT but with USB it only takes a few minutes.

i allready ordered it but i still plan to update it with gligli lpt design

the usb cable didnt came out and i dont want to wait so long

They do make computers/motherboards with LPT ports - you just need to buy the right one.

Nothing you can do until your NAND-x arrives.

so you confirm that the pci to lpt card will not work
thanks- i was desperate -every thing was perfect and it didnt worked

i will try to find an old computer
and will wait for the nand-x usb update cable

I can't confirm, however if the tut says it's not supported then it's not supported. End of.

Hi !

It's now possible to use a PCI card or what you want !! I have created a program to change nandpro ports and it work pretty well !! You just have to remove resistors on the lpt connector to make it work beacause pci card doesn't deliver much power.

NandPro IO Patcher by Ethan0026 doesnt work probably suited for nandpro 2.0 only

problem solved when switching to old computer with onboard lpt port

waiting for the nand x to arrive to solve problem compltly :wink:

Yes, its the same with a lpt programmer cable. It wont work unless you have an onboard lpt port. iMPACT cant find cable.
