so i have no idea what happened but if i try to run my xbox w/ my x3 chip turned off i get it to boot just fine but once it gets to the dash i get a message saying something about needing to have my xbox serviced or some thing super uncool like that, and in the upper left corner is a digital clock style zero five 05 i assume thats what error message im having or some thing. what can i do to get rid of this and have the silly thing work like it should w/ the chip turned off?

Need to lock your hard drive.

Pretty simple to do, if you Hard Drive supports it.

From the X3CL you just go under the Hard Drive settings and lock it.

It is so easy to do. If you were looking in the bios settings, you may have just bumped it.

No big deal!
