Problem trying to flash to stock

Hi, I recently tried to flash back to a stock nand from my RGH nand. I went to J- runner and made a stock, retail nand using my CPU key and all of that good stuff. I flashed via raw flash and nandflash.bin. It successfully wrote the image and I shut down. Now, the green glitch light wont come on and the console gives 3 red rings.

I didnt switch the cool runner to PRG yet. Is that the reason? I have all the files (original nand, cpu key, original ecc image.)

Thank you for the help
~Kapil:biggrin:

EDIT: the rrod comes after about 30 seconds of start up. I doubt it is a GPU issue because I started the console just fine 10 seconds before I switched to stock.

Why did you create a new retail image? You only need to flash the stock NAND back.

EDIT: Remember now that you are looking to use a 14719 retail. In which case, set to PRG as stated.

When you first did your rgh and made a back up of your original nand use that one and not the retail image you created if you have not all ready tried that.

---------- Post added at 19:21 ---------- Previous post was at 19:18 ----------

And try writing back image with nandpro v3.

the command is : nandpro usb: -w64 nand.bin correct?

Can I also use J-runner for simplicities sake?

Got it up and running again using J-Runner and my original NAND.

One last question: Can I accept an official Microsoft Update from Live without my console getting RROD? Just wanted to make sure.

Thanks! ~Kapil

Hmm guess it pays to be a VIP member, my thread was closed for trying to get this same information.

Can you PM me the steps you took to get your retail image back on your Xbox 360?

You weren't asking that at all. You asked how to turn off the Coolrunner.

If you wanted to know how to flash back to stock, then you should have asked. If you don't understand any of this (and judging by your posts up to now, you don't), you should be reading up on the process. Again, as per the rules you agreed to however you don't seem to be doing this.
