Problem using SX Pro with Switch version 6.1

Hi

I have the Sx Pro dongle and tool with Nintendo Switch version 6.1. My microSD card is exFAT.

Managed to boot sx os and select the custom fw. However, after that, I encountered a blank screen and it doesn't proceed anymore.

Any solution? thks

Did you have v6.1 from the start when using sx pro? blank screen=just that moment or does it show blank screen what ever you do?

It happened to me also yesterday on 6.1 except I boot directly (push vol+ and power) without going to tx menu then Switch goes to black screen after the TX logo screen and can't be power on again even after holding power for 15 seconds, plugged in the ac adapter also has no signs of life even tho I still had around 50% battery when it happened
leave it charging for 20 mins seems able to save it

Did you have v6.1 from the start when using sx pro? blank screen=just that moment or does it show blank screen what ever you do?

The blank screen occurred after I upgrade to v6.1. Before that it was 5.1 or something and I can play the games. Did you manage to get it working at your end?

Hi optantic, do you mean after charging, now you can play the games on 6.1? Did you install AutoCRM? Or you just use the jig and dongle to boot up, select the custom fw and play the games?

I did also remove autocrm after that, unsure if that is the problem or not, autocrm disable is not a killer anyway.

my micro sd card already exfat. And I did not install autocrm so that's not the problem for my case. Sorry im a new user for this, how did you manage to make it work on 6.1?

I tried to
1. Ensure my switch is off.
2. My micro sd card (exfat formatted and loaded with the games) is inserted into the switch
3. Place the jig on the right side
4. Insert the dongle
5. Switch on the switch using +vol and power button.
6. The switch will go to the tx menu
7. I select the custom fw option and encountered the black screen.

What steps did I miss?

No, I have never installed AutoRCM, use jig + dongle then hold vol+ and push Power then let both go, there is no need to go to TX menu then choose cfw

hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds then plug in the charger and charge it for 20 mins then try to push Power and see if it will turn on

yes, it's back to normal now after charging for 20mins

Hi it can turn on, but it doesn't seem to be able to read the games stored on the micro sd card. As in when I select the album, it shows empty....it doesn't display the games stored on the card.

I can only play the games (with the respective game cards) that i bought separately.

Sadly i dont have exfat since i been on 6.1 since i got the sx pro, tried to see if it works better if you have a fat32 card with the boot files only just to test?

I haven't updated to 6.1, but there are plenty of reports that it does indeed work just fine.
This must be an issue with your sd card or configuration.

You may want to reformat your SD card and start by using only boot.dat and your license and add your games back in one at a time until you find the problem.

Im on 6.1 and can bot custom fw, but i only have fat32 since i cant patch my ofw to work with xcFAT what i know at the moment.

yes I can see....it then leads me to the options, i.e. boot custom fw or original fw or see options.

Ok, with the dongle and jig inserted, I hold vol+ , push Power then let both go.

I then saw the tx logo for a second and then blank screen again.

I have to hold power button 10-15 seconds and push the power button again to load up the switch. But now, i can only play my own separate games. I still see empty in the album.

ok now i try to just place the boot.dat file onto the sd card. When i power on using vol+ and power, it will guide me through the license generation step.

However, when I click continue, it goes to a blank screen again.

This is frustrating. Anyone advise? What could be the problem? I already tried reformat to exfat and also tried reformat to fat.

thought there is only one way to update Switch, through the system settings and select system update...which i did. Before 6.1, I was in version 5 which Sx Pro works.

did you update the boot.dat to the lastest version? sx os 1.6 or below won't work on 6.1
