Problem w/ Xecuter 3.0 - NEED HELP!

I just installed the Xecuter 3.0 in my Xbox v1.6B.
When I turn on my Xbox the original screen appears.
How can I check to make sure the chip was installed correctly? I triple checked all my solder points with a multimeter for continuity. Seems ok.
The X3 light on the front left panel is not illuminated.
Could the X3 chip have the flash switch set to off? The flash switch is not in the same place as the illustration on the teamxecuter diagram. The switch is on the side. Is switching the flash switch to the right on or off?
Do I need to flash the BIOS with Evox M8 now?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

check all your connections to the switch to your x3, i had a similiar problem, also check to make sure your switch is set to...
1-on
2-on
3-off
4-off
5-off
and make sure your flash protect switch is off as well, that switch config is set for the 1024k, i wouldnt use the m8, go for the 1959 bios from xbins, thats all i can say, its up to you tho. have fun!

If the panel is not illuminated check the connection, then check the 3.3V connection. If you push the 3.0 down too hard you might ruin the solder here, at least that happend to me.

Yes
Check your solder points. Also check like said previolsy that both led's on chip light up before you do anything else. If not your solder needs to be rechecked one more time. Think points 15 and 9 are 3.3V but double check the forum to make sure. Once both leds are on you should be able to turn the xbox on and see the light"s" on on the x3 switch panel.

Good luck

turn xbox on with everything connected (HD and DVD) and try to move the X3 a little bit (left right, up down) when the chip lights up when you move it, you know there is a bad connection.

Also make sure all the pins are level!!!!

Double check your D0 point - this is what tells the chip when the BIOS is booting (And therefore when to load our own BIOS). V1.6B is the same version as my xbox and there were 1 or 2 little things I wanted to add here.

The chip ships with FlashBIOS. You'll know when it's working because your X3 switch will shine blue and your screen will likely go blank. This is because you need FlashBIOS 3.03 to work correctly in 1.6 and 1.6B due to a timing issue with the cheaper RAM Microsoft installed on the new motherboards. So what do you do? Set your switches to (l = left, r = right) l, l, r, l, l. This loads up FlashBIOS 3.03 as Team Xecuter conveniently installed this in a seperate BIOS bank for us.

Now start up your box by tapping the power supply just once, but quickly. Your front switch should shine blue - not red (Red means it's working, just disabled for the boot. A 1second press of the power switch will disable the chip this boot). If the switch doesn't come on then check your connections to the switch and under the switch (They're quite fragile it seems..), and also make sure both of the led's on the X3 light up when you power on. If they dont light up then the chip wont work because you need to connect your alt. 5v AND the other power cable.

If it still isn't working now then you've made a mistake with your installation. The LPC rebuild kit (If you used it) is the most likely culprit. Double check you soldered _all_ the points, and that the connections are clean, and no solder has spilled onto any other tracks.

Modded Gears of War 2 ISO - Dirty Disc Error Comes up as game plays

Help please. I need some detailed information on why I can't get this game to work. I even have this modded game on my hard drive, and it still brings up the Dirty Disc Error. It happens right when the game starts... And the game keeps on going in the background... And I have no choice but to hit "A" or "B" and it takes me right back to the dashboard. Anyone have any clue on what's going on?
Thanks for any help.

...And i don't want to hear how i need a jtag system. I've seen and heard people playing GTA IV Modded Online.
Once again, thanks for any help.

It's modded that's why. GTA IV and gears of war are two different games. no similarities in how those mods should work properly as a modified iso.

Also what mods are in the game?

or burn the game again.. I hope you use verbatim.

No.. I used memorex. But that is because that is all that the radio-shack near me carries. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
And basically i modded every class in multiplayer to run at different speeds, have different amounts of health. And yes, i know Memorex sucks. But that shouldnt be the problem. I mean, i heard they modded the Title Update 4 to load up with it. So if anyone has a modded Title Update 4 and could message it to me. That'd be appreciated as well. And also, I'm more than positive it's not the disc because the intro comes up and everything.... And it takes me to the main menu where it wants me to press start. It just has a dirty disc error in front of everything. So I can't do anything but go back to the dashboard.
