Problem with 0078fk

Hi to all, i can make the drive in mode b, but when i start fw toolbox 3.0 and press raw dump.... the pc freeze. I have a P5RD1-VM asus mb with ULI M1573 chipset. What can i do for solve the problem?

I'm guessing you're using SATA to USB?

If so, the USB adaptor might let you use Slax2 to put 78fk in ModeB but it won't let you dump original/ flash hacked firmware, you need the true SATA chipset, 6421L/A works best for 78fk.

no i dont use sata to usb i have sata ports on the mb with m1573 chipset, now i have order a 6421a chipset sata card, 6421a chipset work always or have some problem?

I see, but the problem still is yours Chipset, I would use L, but A will works just fine.
