Sorry, I posted the post below in the wrong forum by mistake. Please can a mod remove it from the main help forum?

Hi, I've finally been able to login... I was getting databse errors for the past week whenever I tried logging into the forums...
anyways, I have an xecuter 3ce chip in my xbox v1.0 (solderless install) (random question: what is that "wheel/scroll" type thing on one corner of the chip?).
I have tried unsuccesfully to load a TON of bioses (X3 3094, 3093, 1463-i think thats thenumber), and some EvoX (M7, M8), (all for V1.0-1.5) and was unsuccesful... It flashed alright (tried HTTP and Disc flashing), and even though the flash seemed to go without a hitch after the box turned off it wouldnt go back on, it would light up blue (chip) then begin spinning fans/hd, and then turn off...
I tried this on TWO xecuter3ce chips (dont ask why I had an extra
ops), tried both banks on both chips...
THEN, I happened to try my luck with one more X3 bios, X3_2913... this bios worked! I then tried 2914 and the 1xxx older one, and those didnt work either...
I am really stumped.
One more complaint is that with the 2913 bios, I am unable to save any changes (if I set it to NOT go into x3cl by default, or change netowkr options or whatever) whenever I boot it goes back to default config... (Time isnt being lost tho)
Any help greatly appreciated...
