Problem with composite cables

I have always used the m$ component cables with my modded box, but the other day I tried to use the regular composite cables, and the screen is all different colors and scrolls up the screen...really weird. I tried different cables and different tvs, all have the same problem! any ideas?

Different colors and scrolling issues, sounds like a PAL signal going to an NTSC TV. (or vice versa, depending on your location) Do you have the ability to hook back up via component and go through different video settings looking for a PAL/NTSC setting? I'd start looking in the MS dash, then check in your mod dash(es). Generally the mod dashes will read settings from the MS dash I believe.
