RGH Problem with games on RGH Slim

So I tried with

- DL2.27 with ContPatch enabled = same prob
- 14699 without any DL = same prob

I finish "work" for today.

Sadly I can only test other things (like JTAG with 14699 + DL2.27) after christmas ....

Sadly I could not sleep ...

With XexTool I found out that all games not working are encrypted as "DevKit", while the ones working are "Retail". But I cannot remember patching any game anytime. (Even more they are working on my JTAG and not on my RGH.)

I tried switching this with "xextool -m -r" but sadly this did not work out. Can someone point out how / if it possible to rebuild the xex to work again?

So you messed with the files beforehand ? Told you that it was something you were doing ! No need to mess with the files at all. Time to re-rip the xex files off the original discs

Sadly it seems to be. But to be honest I can not rememeber messing with the files myself. Either an accident, or I forgot it, or ...
I checked all games, and roughly the half is messed up ...

Just for fun I tried to "repair" the files with XeXTools, but it seems not possible (at least for me) ...
What I do not understand is that JTAG / RGH (in my opinion) is ale to run "everything". Furthermore I do not get the point why the run on 13146+DL2.23b, and not on 14699+DL2.27?!

If you used the copydvd function in xexmenu it patches the xex files, however it keeps a backup.

What I don't understand is why you're not just re-extracting the xex files off the original discs already? It would take 5 mins a game max.

I didn't do this directly because I like challenges (playing around) - even though I don't know that much abaut 360 "software".

As I tried everything I will rip the not working games again (as you already said) ... lukily I really have the retail discs (unlike lots of other people).

No worries. You only need to re-rip the xex file as instructed.
