Hello everyone!I am new in this forum and please forgive me if I make a mistake.I decided to hack my Arcade xbox 360's dvd drive-LiteOn DG-16G2S using this guide : http://www.game-tuts.com/community/f36/tut-flashs-liteon-without-ck3-93029/ because I havent had CK3 and CK3-probe and the tool for powering the drive. My PC's sata is onboard nvidia nforce.Everything went OK.Xbox readed the dvd drive.I burnt 2 discs just in case...Xbox showed Play ...(game's name) when I put the discs. But when I press Play it goes black screen and says Disc is unreadable or disc is Unsupported.I thought that it's because my discs werent burnt properly.I tried them on my friend's hacked xbox and they worked both.I decided to change my DVD drive's firmware using xbox as power source(used it before as power source) and it stuck on erasing. Then I tried to stop and start the dvd many times and now my xbox's J1D1 port isnt working but the dvd is flashed after many trys and its working fine(tested it on other xbox). On my Xbox, start button's led is always flashing green and it powers up the drive but sends wrong commands to it(like when i press the dvd button it shows opening in dashboard but its closed and laser blinks and after that tray opens again and dashboard is showing always Opening) and led is always blinking when DVD is attached and when it isnt.ANd as result everything works but J1D1 port dont. Can i fix it without soldering?Or how can i fix it at all?

From your description, it seems like your eject sensor and/or closed tray sensor may be messed up.

These sensors are very crude, they are some metal rectangular strips that make contact with each other as the deck lifter moves from left to right, they may be bend, if you open it up the damage is quiet obvious, just look at it, you'll need to remove the tray for a good look.

I have 2 xbox 360's and only 1 is working and 2 DVD players-both are working.I have tried both dvd's on the not-working xbox which has got 1 red light and they are opening and closing normal.Thats why I think that the problem is with the working xbox's J1D1 port. The problem appeared when i was trying to re-flash its dvd because I have plugged and unplugged it many times.

That's what I did:

It makes bridge between 2 points to connect with wire, but without wire :D
Now when I test with multimeter it beeps, that means that there is a connection between these 2 points. Is there a connection when haven't got a wire between two points? It does the same thing again. And the light is blinking again(center green light).Must I connect them directly, without shortcuts?

I cant unsolder that right now,but when I connect a wire on two dots it gives me 3 red lights with secondary 0002.But they are short-connected now.
