Problem with LCLK Voltage Too High

I am in the process of installing a X3 CE in my newly acquired 1.6 Xbox. I have done all the required soldering including the pinheader and the rebuild PCB, following the Team Xecuter installation tutorial. What happens when I turn on the Xbox (with the chip installed) is that it boots up with the M$ dashboard no matter what I do. Both the 3.3V and the 5.0V light on the chip is lit. I did a check on the pins with a multimeter, and all the pins have correct voltage except for pin #1 (LCLK). It is supposed to have 0.2V, but shows over 6V. Something is definitely not right. I have looked over all my soldering points and haven't found anything suspicious. So does anyone have any ideas to why the LCLK is showing such a high voltage? What would be the most likely cause for this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bump again...

Any ideas why LCLK shows a voltage higher than 0.2V?

I have tried resoldering my points but to no avail, the damn thing still shows a high voltage (1.6V).

Ordy, is your Xbox version 1.6(b)? I did have a talk with Milingo who wrote the LPC Diagnostics tutorial and he said that LCLK may be of a different voltage on versions 1.6(b). If I had read at the very top of his tutorial I would have seen that it was written for versions 1.0 - 1.5 only. All this time I have thought that my problem was incorrect voltage on LCLK, but that may not be the case anymore. My next theory is that there is an incorrect version of the flashbios (probably 3.0.1) on my chip. If that is the case, how would the Xbox behave when attempting to boot up?

Vyrus, yep, I'm positive that everything is plugged/connected right. I'm almost there now. I can feel it... heh :p

Damn, Vyrus, I just found the culprit.... I hate to say this, but I had connected the alternative 5V wrong.... (stupid stupid stupid).... So you were right, I hadn't connected everything right. That BIOS screen have never looked better, heh :D

So then I can also confirm that LCLK at 1.6V is the correct voltage for a version 1.6 Xbox.

Well, I'm off flashin' BIOS (screw sleeping tonight)

See ya
