So here's how it went:

Have a Lite-On drive that's been flashed before with LT+ 1.1
I updated from pre 13146 dash to 13599 dash, then the firmware changed to 02510 FW like it should.

Now what I did was use the original 74850C key dummy.bin file and target firmware was 02510 LT 1.91 firmware, apparently keys didn't match, yet I just erased the firmware and updated with the firmware anyways. Yeah a dumb thing to do.. don't ask why :frown:.

Now I reverted the firmware back to 74850C revision with Stock firmware.

Can I still extract the key with Pogo Mo Thoin method? Or is there any other way to update the firmware to LT 1.91?

PS. I also flashed the drive back to LT+ 1.1 firmware after all the hassle. keys and all seemed to match (meaning the flashing was successful), but when I try to play even the older games it gives me the "Play DVD" message.

try flash back to stock firmware( original 74850C) then update to latest dash, it will then show up as 0251 then flash the drive using 0251 lt 1.91 firmware.

http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66301 use this tutorial after updating to latest dash
What if the dash is updated to the latest one?
I can't update the dash any further.

did u get the 0251 orig dummy key
By getting the 0251 original dummy key you mean extracting it from the drive by probing? Or do you mean the original stock firmware that came with the new LT 1.91 package?

I haven't probed it to extract the key.

If you've updated your dash to 13599, you can not use Lt+1.1. Only LT+1.91 is for 13599
