Problem with Rebooting XBMC

I don't know if this is a problem with the bios or XBMC, but I have noticed ever since I updated to the 5032 bios, the xbox freezes right after the Xecuter2 Config Live Loading... screen when I choose restart in XBMC (I use XBMC as my dash). This doesn't happen everytime I restart in XBMC, but I'd say it happens 80% of the time. It only happens when I choose restart; it has never had any other problems. Also, It never used to do this in the past when I used the 4981 bios. Does anyone know what this could be?

What version of XBMC are you running? When it was compiled?

I'm running 5-5-05... I compiled it myself, and before you say that is the problem, I have no issues with compiling or building it.

Can't say I've got the same setup... running XBMC from April 4th 2005 and it isn't my dash, just an app I can run. Tried restarting within twice XBMC and had no problems and don't recall any happening since I installed 5032. At least under a different config it seems to work.

Any possibility of trying it as just an app rather than a dash, and seeing if you get the same results?

If I used it as an app then it wouldn't be rebooting to XBMC so it defeats the purpose. The issue is rebooting to XBMC, and i'll probably never switch it from my dash so as an app it would be pointless. I know what you mean... really I jsut wanted to see if anyone else is having problems similar to mine. It might even be an XBMC problem with reintializing after reboot.

I actually had somebody come to me the other day that uses UnleashX as his skin with a Duox2 chip/X2 5032 bios. Most of the time when he did the IGR it would try to reboot to UX but would stick up and would have to power off the machine and boot up agian. He was running an older version of XBMC. I installed the latest version off of xbins and didn't have any problems whatsoever after that.

I myself haven't had a problem...running the new XBMC with an X2.6ce and X2.5032 bios.

Actually I get the same deal. However I run it as an app also but when I select reset some times in freezes. I just used the in-game-reset. L-R-Back-Start all at the same time and that seems to work ok.
