GENERAL problem with the DVD ROM

I wanted to UPGRADE my XBOX 360 LITE (DVD ROM-LITEON) to version LT3.0. I found the KEY when I did a version(UPGRADE) last year (LT 2.0).

after the software JUNGELFLASHER found the DVD ROM I steped to deleting LT 2.0 (because I already had the key), it finished the partition, I tried to write LT 3.0(button WRITE) and the software get stuck (not responding).

I did RISTART to my computer. and After that the software JUNGELFLASHER didnt find the DVD ROM.

Questions:

1. did i do something wrong during the Upgrade?

2. Whether can i return the DVD ROM in any way?

Have you got a backup of the key ?

Is this for a phat console or slim ?

To get the dvd back to life you can just go an erase but mkae sure you have a backup of the dvd key first

yes i got a backup of the key(from the last time that i did UPGRADE (LT 2.0),and this is for phat console(XBOX ELITE).

I saw the erase liteon button in the software Jungelflasher,but the problem is that the Jungelflasher cant find my DVD ROM.

Go ahead an load the firmware your going to use as source and let it spoof to target with the right dvdkey. Hit the erase button. It should erase and then write the firmware to it even if it doesn't show in jungleflasher.

As above, I know it says it cannot see a drive but by going for the erase should bring it back to life.

I tried to do this and its failed.In the 360 Tools I hitted the Lite-On Erase button, its asked me some Questions and to power drive Off then one in quick succession, I did this, the Jungelflasher thought, and write to me this:
Sending Lite-On-Erase request to port 0xF400
..............
Drive returned Status 0x80
....................
Device Intro failed!

And when I just hitted the Erase butten(and changed to Phat) its wrote to me immediately that:
Getting Status from port 0xF400
Invalid Status 0x80
