problem with the power/eject pcb

i install an X3 and it works fine. the only problem i am having is when i connect the power/eject no solder adapter only one LED on the left side comes on. but if i connect the power/eject pcb board straight into the motherboard both light up. what is the problem???

NM found out the problem, i can be a retard sometimes
