RGH problem working kinect with dash 14719

Hmmmm, as long as your dash launch is setup the same settings as mine and have live block in family settings I don't know what to tell you.

Mine asks me to pick a profile, I pick one and the games starts up right away. Double check you dashlaunch settings and make sure you saved it right.


EDIT: I just tried another kinect game and still nothing about live, thats 8 I tried so far

Really i will go mad
I build the image nandflash again using j runner 272 . . Then installed dashlaunch3 using the settings as you sent me . I checked the settings many times and block live from family settings .
The problem is that all kinect games do not recognize any profile made

I also tried kinect id to the profile

Any new ideas?

Just to cover all bases, is this issue happening when using a retail disk, or only when playing the extracted game from a hard drive?

If it's the latter, did you include the $systemupdate folder when extracting the game? I remember some games having issues when this folder wasn't present.

I play the games after extraction using xbox image broswer and freestyle
First i tried kinect games inluding the systemudate folder then i deleted that and tried again but same result
And ofcourse leave the official update 14719 as $$ytemupdate on the root of usb

Try the retail disk and report back. If using the disk causes the same issue, then it will be clear that it's an issue with either Dashluanch, FSD, or some type of configuration. If the problem doesn't occur using the retail disk, then you'll narrow it down to an issue with the game files.

Did you try the retail disk? No point in trying anything else until you rule it out and narrow the problem down. This is what troubleshooting is.

Yes, play the original retail disk using the DVD drive. The dashlaunch patches and all your configurations remain active... so playing the disk will determine if it's an issue with the game files, or an issue with either dashlaunch or some setting.

I tried retail game from dvd using the rgh slim dash 14719 with dashlaunch3.0
Still have the problem
The game let's cher
I can't reognize any profiles
I tried making many profiles
Tried also online profile from another console
Tried also to configure kinect id from settings
But in vain

When i go back to 14699 ...... Everything go alright

Delete any copies of launch.ini you have on your Xbox, then try again after a reboot.

update nand to 14719
install dashlaunch 3 to be capable of updating official update
after sure of working avatars ...uninstall dashlaunch again and all of its programs and files from usb

No Martin means look through your hard drive and delete any launch.ini. files for dashlauch.

Then after that reboot your console and run your dashlaunch again, and see if that helped.

Did you try recalibrating your kinect again and make sure it still works right?

I want to ask everyone has kinect working on 14719 .... How did he build his update .? I am using j runner 274

Why are you trying to update your nand by rebuilding your RGH image for kinect anyway. The only thing you have to do is build your RGH image and then download the official M$ update for your RGH dash version for kinect to work.

I have done a few RGH/Jtags and thats all I ever had to do for kinect to work. I have tried 8 games and it only asks me to pick a profile and the game starts, I don't know about that game as I don't have it.

Don't keep trying to build new images as it will not help you with kinect. The problem is something else, not your RGH image.

Do you have another xbox to try your kinect on to see if its not a kinect issue? I have had see "can't reognize any profiles" because I wasn't standing in a good enough spot when I was picking my profile.

i almost made 100 RGH ....anf till 14699 everything is gonna to be alright ....the problem is with 14719 .....all kinect games fail to recognize profiles ...it always asking to sign in and nothing more or choose to continue without profile and as a result without saving .....

i tried to build RGH image 14719 using J Runner and also Xebuild GUI 2.04 ....nothing new
i tried so many consoles ....
i tried so many profiles and also online profiles
i tried different Dashlaunch versions

could u please send me the launch.ini you used in building the dashlaunch please
or could i send u the Original nand and Cpukey to build for me the 14719 image including dashlaunch settings ???

Give me a couple of mins and I'll send you my launch.ini. for dashlaunch 3.0. Tell me where you have your Freestyle dash installed internal or external and what the folder is called FSD or freestyle so I can write it in.

Don't make any more images as I have 4 RGH trinitys right now on 14719 and the kinect works on all of them.

i am using usb HDD on my console ....and i am naming freestyle as freestyle
