Problems copying games to xbox? (forza)

ive tried and tried and tried to get forza motorsport to work on my xbox but everytime it says loading and then goes right back to the main evox dashboard. ive tried dvd2xbox and px hdd and others and still to no luck it doesnt work. i have a version 1.0 xbox with a 2.6ce with 5035 bios i tried 5032 bios still no luck and it has an 80 gig maxtor. ive tried copying halo 2 to my xbox and it worked great the game started up and everything i just cant seem to get forza to work

Couple of things...
what version of Forza do you have NTSC or PAL?
what do you have EVOX game region set to? AUTO/DEFAULT/PAL/NTSC?
What version Box do you have
Is it NTSC or PAL box?
Is it your origional game you are loading to HD or a torrented/NG RIP?

the version is ntsc and the region is set to auto and the version of xbox is a 1.0 and its a ntsc box and its an original game

check and make sure the disk isn't dirty/scratched....Does it play from the dvd-rom?

No matter where the game come from Rather it is a orginal or a rip ( that is illeagl) you will have to find the default.xbe on the net or edit it yourslef. The game will not just copy to harddrive and work!! They have implented a little bit diffrent secruity thaat is each fixed with the patch . Hope this helps

Not true. I ripped it using DVD2Xbox without any problems.

i also backed it up using dvd2xbox and there were no complications afterwards

You sure you have enough room on the drive? How many games do you have on there?

not ture, mine "Just copied" fine infact I just played it before coming to work.

well guys I am glad some of you are not having any trouble but alot of the noobs use slayers to install everything and that version of slayers has yet to rip that game and have it playable. I have tried to rip it on 3 xbxes i own off a retail disk i own and none of them would rip it and make it playable with out the xbe patch. I guess its just my disk or version of dvd2xbox but it would not work for me.

Get the latest version of DVD2Xbox, and give that a try.

I used dvd2Xbox too no dramas. Strange one ya got there. Try a different (borrow one) disc maybe.

also used dvd2xbox, have not problems booting it from the HDD with UnleashX.
