Problems running games

I have my Xbox modded with the Xenium SPICE. I have loaded Xecuter bin 5035 and Xbox Media Center. Some of the games I have will not play on the Xbox. Halo 2, ATV 2, and Haunted Mansion all play fine but Crimson Skies and another game lock up when I try to load.

If I use the original Xbox hard drive I can load all programs with no problems. But as soon as I switch to the new 320GB WD drive I have problems loading those games. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be? I have edited the file and set the hard drive settings to 1 (the rest goes to drive f). Drive F currently has 289gb free. It doesn't matter if I try to play them from the hard drive or the DVD drive.

Also, when I am playing a game what do I have to do to return back to the dashboard? Right now I am reseting the Xbox but there has to be an easier way.

My brother has a similar setup (hard drive exec) but has the Xecuter 3 CE. Everything it working great for him with the Xecuter 3 BIOS.

Thanks! The game are now running. I had to turn off the IGR. I never would have though to look for the solution there.


What about my second question? I couldn't find an answer there. How do I exit from a game back to the dashboard without rebooting the machine?

I got it fixed! Thanks for your help. It was actually the cache that was causing the program. I turned IGR back on and it works perfectly.
