Problems w/ 3 diff chips Please Help

I recently tried installing a 2.6 and i guess i used the wrong bios(not sure). When I couldnt get it to work i tried to put a x3 that worked perfectly fine before in the box and it didnt work either. Then I tried to put a x2.3 in it(also working fine before) and it didnt work. Now all 3 chips are inop, when it boots up I get error #5 HHD not locked and when I locked the HDD it boots MS dash. Do the chips need to be reflashed or are they worthless? Thank You

x3 frags 3 times then blank screen flashing r/g eject in both 1.4 and 1.6. It was originally from 1.4 with whatever x3 bios was current in august

Even when I put the x3 chip back in the original xbox it came out of it still frags 3 times then blank screen. I can't get it to respond to any of the boxes, as a matter of fact, all three diff. chips frag 3 times the blank screen no matter what box I put them in.

One thing I have not seen mentioned is the switch settings and whether you can get to the back up bios.

From previous experience as well, changes in an installation like a simple switch knocks cables, loosens points and makes installations become flawed. If this still continues you really need to examine what has changed using troubleshooting techniques and correct it.

yes i've tried it and it still frags. I have the xapt3r installed. This is for a 1.4 box. Should be the same non-1.6 bios that I put on it.
